I had tears to my eyes at the end of this film. I must say I was quite impressed.
Starring Kevin Costner as Ben Randall, a legendary rescue swimmer who after a terrible event is told to take some time and teach instead. The first day at the College we meet Jake Fischer (Ashton Kutcher) a high school swim champion, who is a bit to big for his boots.
As the film roles on we see the class go through tough and challenging exercises to become a rescue swimmer. Whilst Randall is failing the majority of the class, Fischer is determined to stay till the end. Not without a few hicupps along the way of course.
At the end of the film we see a rescue mission go wrong. And it makes you think to what risk these rescue swimmers go through. The film really got me thinking and I think that it was an interesting story showing love, loss and self sacrifice.
